Executive Woods Dental Care offers a variety of teeth whitening options to fit your lifestyle. We believe that teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to enhance your smile and give it that extra “pop” that you are looking for. Your appearance can affect you socially, emotionally, and even in business success. People who smile with confidence are viewed as warm, inviting, and beautiful. Now, with teeth whitening options from Executive Woods Dental Care, Dr. Steven Connolly can help you achieve the pearly whites of magazine models and movie stars.

Why Teeth Discolor:
Chemicals in foods, beverages, and tobacco can change the color of your teeth, as can the effects of aging. Medications such as tetracycline, excessive fluoride, and previous dental work may also cause unsightly stains on your tooth enamel. Genetics can also affect the color of your teeth. While we think of tooth enamel as white, the natural, unstained shade of your teeth can range from pearly white to bluish gray to pale yellow. Even if you brush and floss daily, stains can tarnish your beautiful smile and steal the confident image you want to convey.

Teeth Whitening Options:
You don’t have to live with discolored teeth. After listening to you and completing an exam, we can recommend the best option for whitening and brightening your smile.

Key Benefits of Teeth Whitening:
Corrects brown, yellow and spotted tooth staining
Works on people of any age
Is a near-permanent solution for a “dull” smile, restoring brightness and brings a smile alive

How is teeth whitening done?  An impression is taken to make a specialized “mouthguard” or “stent” to hold the bleach against the teeth. The material is used each night for about 3-4 hours for a week or two, and at the end of this time, significant whitening will occur. In some cases, the change is nothing short of brilliant. For confidence in appearance, bleaching technology allows us to promise improvements in yellowing, aging or stained teeth. For very severely stained teeth, crowns or porcelain veneers may be more appropriate.
